Finished my first “Bot” It is called the “CB Walking Bot” and the plans come from Clayton Boyer’s web site. What a fun little project. The plans come with three models so I have to more to go.

Run with a nine volt battery, and a little DC motor.

Congratulations on your Top 3.
Those “Bots” are absolutely fascinating and mesmerising.
I’ve been looking at these for a while now, maybe yours is the tipping point.
We have a “Men’s Shed” here and I reckon this would be a very challenging project for the Guys.
Thank you for the inspiration. I’ll go check out the plans.

Great job and good video.

Bob

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Bob, I also have the plans for the little Puffer Steam Engine that is on his site. I want to build it because I watched a guy named Keith, on the Australian Woodworking forum build a replica of that engine a couple years ago. It was amazing the detail he did. My little one won’t have the detail, but I think he would get a kick out of it. I hope I can get in touch with him again and send him a video when I finish it.

I got a good start on the second bot today.

Thanks everyone on the nice comments.
