Here’s piece #7 in my Stickley A&C inspired Bedroom Furniture. Combo Plant stand and Bookcase designed to fit under a window and next to the other pieces. Solid QSWO, M&T construction, Marble top shelf for the plants.
Did a little different finish, used wipe on stain as the first coat, than BLO and 2 coats amber shellac.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks papadan,
The large pieces are left, may be awhile for those, need to justify QSWO into the budget.

Doug, this is another masterpiece. You better buy the qswo while you still can. Locally, it is getting harder to find, more expensive and not as nice as it has been recently. Maybe Tararico's is buying all the good stuff. ha

Price went up my last trip over. My trips over to the supplier I usually grab a couple boards of qswo for my next piece
But your right I may have to stock up faster.

Thanks Jerry!

Wow just checked out that website you linked, prices are up there, especially for the “Old Growth”
My stepson has a white oak in his yard maybe 6’ in circumference, 25’ + for the butt and everytime I go over there I
comment “Ya know what I could do with that tree”

This is a beautiful bookcase and you’ve done a fine job on it.

Doug, if you decide to harvest that tree, let me know. I’ll take whatever you are willing to sell.
