Decided to build a couple of smaller boxes than I usually build. The darker box is smoked eucalyptus veneer with cedar lining on the inside, walnut trays and maple trim. The lighter box is also a veneer that I was unable to identify, also with cedar lining on the inside, walnut trays, african mahogany and walnut trim, along with golden amboyna burl lid.

The boxes are 8.5” X 4.5” X 4”.

Thanks for looking.

Sweet. Good looking set of boxes.
I too like lift off lids. Others seem to not mind and no hinge work :-)

What kind of finish did you use?

These boxes are all very attractive and you’ve done a nice job on them.
