This project does not actually use wood – but since owning and using and storing tools is one of the fun parts of woodworking I thought I would include it here.

The idea behind this roll was to have the repair tools one needs at home at hand. What you see here is a very carefully chosen set aimed at most repair jobs I have to tackle. Those Knipex pliers are just a must have.

The bit belt is filled completely in the original state of use – I leave it to the reader’s imagination how it might look completed.

The handy thing about a roll like that is that you have all your tools at display and immediate access. But you need a place to roll it out flat – and that might be missing.

This roll served me for roughly two years until the jocks itch hit me and I had to build (sew) the next step of evolution.
