A co-worker asked Me to design/build a display fixture for his prize horse saddle. I used western cedar to give it a rustic look and feel and put a tray at the bottom for trophy/medal display. Finished it off with a urethane finish

Very nice!!! If I may ask, how did you fasten the sides to the saddle mounting? I see no fasteners, my only thought is pocket hole screws.
