This is an arts and crafts bookcase that I built from a Woodcraft project plan. I used sapele and it turned out great. The top is book matched. The finish is 5 coats of shellac and a clear wood filler.

It looks great and you do an excellent job.

Any chance you took the pictures with an iPhone….it seems to be one culprit in the sideways pictures.

Very nice. Curious where you found the drawer pulls.

Wow, a real head turner…....pun intended since your pictures are sideways!!!!!!
From what I can see that finish is flawless.
Do you have the woodcraft project plan#........did it come in a magazine or from a plan purchased in the store?
I would like to get my hands on a copy.

I fixed the sideways picture. The plan came from woodcraftmagazine.com oct/nov 2012. I bought a PDF download.

Very nice. I like the design. Just curious, did you anchor it to the wall? Could be a tipping hazard for young children.
