Just a simple box built in maple. It has mitered corners reinforced with cherry splines, with a cherry lid and bottom captured in dadoes, finished with shellac, then rubbed out with paste wax.

Thanks, Dave. I do love how the maple and cherry go together. That was my first attempt at splined miters and the contrasting wood came out great.
