Little Cherry Boxes

My wife and I rarely wear our wedding rings. They’re nice and all, made by a local goldsmith out of Dawson City Placer Gold, with nice moose and bear tracks inlaid. Maybe too nice ding up in the shop or have slip off while on the water. They tend to go on little trips of their own, disappearing for a month or more, only to turn up later a little tarnished.
I built a box for each to keep track of them, but maybe they’d like to be together…
Square dowelled the corners and tried to pillow them with a chisel into a pyramid shape, but ended up losing most of it in the sanding.
