Blast from the past.
I was looking through some pictures and came across this curio cabinet. This is one of the first projects I remember building – about thirty years ago when I was in High School. I made it as a wedding present for my church High School youth group sponsor and her new husband.
As I recall, it’s made of pine with left over scraps of hardwood flooring used for the back. Even then, I liked the idea of re-using wood.

I still have a cedar box I made in Jr. high school industrial arts class, a life long friend just tore down a pole house we used as kids & the box was in it. Thank goodness my name was on the bottom!
