Project Information

I made these frames for some photos we bought a while back. I have nothing against miters but I really don't like the flimsy feel and look. So I researched some approaches without miters and I came across some Greene and Greene frames. I took those as my inspiration but I wanted a simpler look. So this is what came out. It is cherry with ebony plugs.

When I saw the last two photos, I figured it must have been a view of the beach from your honeymoon. Then I read that you bought them. Nice job on the frames. I've always like the looks of the G & G frames.

Hey Woody

Thanks, I wish that I had that skills with the camera. The photos look so real but I couldn'd make that show in mine as you can see…

Very nice!! I like the look, I have been thinking of making frames and don't like the miters either. Thanks for posting, will try this look.
