Made my son his own workbench for his 5th birthday. It is made from select 4×4 df lumber from the home center. He loves playing wack-a-mole with the bench dogs and messing with the wagon vise. I also made him the tool rack from the PW plans for his budding tool collection.

I love it. Especially the photos of your little buddy working away. What a great project.

You have done a wonderful thing for your son in the building of this bench. He’ll learn so many things if he develops a good steady lasting interest in woodworking. Congratulations; it’s a fine bench.

Thanks, it is worth it, to hear him ask if we can go out to the garage and make something on his bench all the time.

Wonderful.
What a lucky son, what a lucky father.
