This is a coffee table I made for my daughter for Christmas. It’s made from reclaimed wood, and I made it to fit a piece of glass I already had. My wife came up with a good whitewash/weathering finish for it, and it turned out really well.

I learned a few things with this project, the least of which is to ALWAYS wear the respirator (it didn’t end well, that’s for sure).

This was a lot of fun!

The light wood with the glass looks awesome

Thank you!

My daughter loves it! I also built it so it could be knocked down for moving (she was in college at the time). My first piece of furniture, but most assuredly not my last!
