My first wood plane. It’s Cherry and Walnut with a 1 3/4” Hock Blade.

It was fun and easy to make. Works good and has a nice feel. Setting the blade is fairly easy. Now I just need to make a small adjusting hammer.

Looks like nice thin shavings. ver very cool. Art work and tool combined.

Nice looking plane, I used the plan but twicked it a bit. Nice combo of woods and great choice on the blade. Enjoy using and stay safe….Blkcherry
