Fidget items seem to be a trend. At least I found out about it this weekend. Many involve a spinning object using a roller bearing. Found this one on Pocket83’s YouTube channel. Made one from maple with the 2mm adhesive craft foam on the ends. It was very simple to make. The biggest challenge was turning a smooth curve. It is 9cm long.

Someone is also marketing them – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOGuO6RoX8Y

Video is cool, simple but looks like fun.

Thanks Steve.
It appears the sides are flat near center making the toy function less than optimally. The curve on the plans seems to be on a 14” radius. so my thought is to construct a jig for my lathe to turn the correct radius on a second test piece.
