This a pine desk that was completed on 09-21-2007. It was shipped unfinished, the customer was going to finish it along with the pre-cut Murphy bed that was shipped along with it.
It is a double pedestal desk with full extension rails and a file drawers. The file drawers built to hold the standard hanging file folders. The system that I use was developed so that I, or the customer, doesn’t have to add the metal racks. This saves space. What I do is just cut a rabbet in the outside/top of the drawer sides. I is really a quick and easy add-on but it does add values to a piece.
To see some other items I built this month go to my archive.

I like that design… I really like the smooth arches under each side… very cool.
