Well this is my first real project in the new shop. Still in the process of placing/purchasing tools. Just bought this Jet benchtop drill press a couple weeks ago. I’ll review the dp later on after I’ve had more time with it. Didn’t like that it had no holes in the table so I had to drill my own. Watched a lot of videos online for ideas and took a little from several. Mostly Steve Ramsey’s concept but beefed it up a little bit. Table is 2 layers of sanded plywood, topped with 1/4” sanded plywood with pine trim. Finished with 3 coats of amber shellac and 2 coats of wax.

Lots of nice handy features!

Is your cast iron table round or square? I have a very similar Jet, round table.

It’s neither really. 4 sides to it but each side is curved if that makes sense.
