These are some tops made (more or less) from the book “America Folk Toys” by John Nelson. (http://www.amazon.com/American-Folk-Toys-Easy-Build/dp/1561582212/ref=sr12?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1269915343&sr=8-2) We’re making several toys for easter give-aways for the kids. I have to admit that these things are really fun though! The top is plywood, and there is a small wooden block glued to the bottom to give some beef for the dowel to glue into. They spin really well too!

Great gift for kids. Turned some of these for Christmas presents this last year. Kids loved them.

Keep it up.
