I have few plastic planters and they look ugly, so decided to make them more appealing and easier on the eye by building decorative barrel shell. Note that the rope is just decorative to hide the joints. The jointing pieces are cut from the template, that you can download (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zsBn8w3f0Ic2RJam45RXpDVU0) here.
In this video, we build decorative barrel to shroud the 5-gallon planter. The results were very pleasing and I am excited to share it with you.
Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe.

About:
This channel is created to share my passion for woodworking and guide beginners into realizing the joy of this hobby. Woodworking is fun, inspiring and helps you to design, create and relax. You can pick up a piece of wood and create something out of it and the result is uplifting. You just created something valuable from a piece of wood. The hobby is not cheap and sometimes it is less expensive to buy some piece of furniture than to make it. But this is only true for the casual observer, your creations are like work of art, unique, custom and one of a kind. I hope you enjoy the videos and presented projects.

Thanks Tony! That’s a great project for using a lot of my scrap wood.

Have your say...
