Another stained glass picture pattern. Maple wood, clear lacquer, water colors. I used a fine metal cutting blade for her facial features. I rubbed out the lacquer on her clothes and used a gloss lacquer and some glitter to give her wings a more mystic appearance.

beautiful detail and the wing glitter was a great touch

No advise for I live in the part of Tx that is hardly nothing but mesquite. I bought this 5/4 maple in the rough form at an auction and had been stored for many years and was not stacked or stickered properly. Lots and lots of it and I hope maybe half will be straight enough to use.. Did I mention hard maple sure is hard on planer blades… I finally changed the hanger position so the angel hangs like like she should so she can watch over guys like me..
