red granadillo originates in honduras and has a very deep rich red color..I
selected a board that had some sap in it to get it that “smile” pattern in the front…my 10 yr old grandson cullen st. cyr drew this piece and I “tweaked” it a hair…we have a business aggreement that being anything he draws and sells he gedts a $20 commission! comments are always appreciated..thanks

That’s pretty sweet, love the colors and grain. I just posted a similar project, checked to see that it posted and saw yours. I like yours better than mine, I’m just starting to learn making these. Where do you get the red granadillo from?

Not a crank question, and no disrespect intended, made on a lathe? Reason I ask is I don’t have a lathe so I’m trying other techniques and tools.

Size?

Real nice Peter, great work getting the pattern spot on. Cullen should be banking his bonus very soon. Another great Ring Master project.
