This is my second segmented bowl and I’m much more pleased with this one. I took the time to graph out my segments since the first one I turned was all guess work, and it was time well spent. This bowl is made up of 145 total pieces, of walnut, maple veneer strips, and a solid maple plug center. I’ve finished with walnut oil and will Beall buff once it’s dry. Also my first bowl finished on my homemade cole jaws, very pleased.

Nice work , and it’s nice to make your own jigs.

It’s worth the extra effort as that’s a beautiful segmented bowl, good job!

Love the contrasting work.
Great job.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
