My gosh! So many parts, my hands were sweating, my vision blured…... 4 different fittings, are they on right! O, I am ok now. Just the transition from Slimlines to a GIANT PEN! It was like making my very frist pen making this larger one. Started out with a Rockler Cirgar pen kit, on sale (I am a cheap, bargin hunter), a blank of curly Narra Wood. 10mm hole, looked like a 50 caliber comparied to the Slimlines…... Making a few for a charity fund for the Walnut Street Christian School’s Auction in April. Have anouther one in Zebra Wood at work getting there logo and name lasered on it. It will look very nice. Just wanted to encourage those of you that have only made the Slimlines so far, that this Cigar Pen from Rockler was high quality and looks so nice. I laid it up against one of my Slimlines and turned away for just a moment, and I thing that the Cigar Pen ate my slimline up….. Highly recomend this pen, lots of fun, and really turned heads at work. Thanks for looking, and thanks to all the pen turners here at LJ’s for there inspiring projects!

Fantastic pen. Going to a great cause also. Love the larger pens. Haven’t started making pens yet. Have way too many other things I am trying to get done. haha

Keep up the great work.

-- Scrap Wood's the best...the projects are smaller, and so is the mess!

Have your say...
