Hi everyone, here is a carving I completed of ruby throat male and female hummingbirds. The birds are carved from basswood as well as the morning glories and stump. The leaves and I are constructed from brass sheet and rod. Everything is then painted with acrylics and sealed.

Truly exceptional carving!
We have a lot of hummingbirds around here but they move so fast it it difficult to see their beauty.

Thanks for sharing your work!
