HI, well here some things I been making there not perfect but I am new to this segment turning and still having trouble with it, I cut about half my pieces till I notice they would not fit together good?? My table saw blade was 1.5 degrees off being 90 and same with my band saw, this sucked to say the least but now I check all the time.

Hope you enjoy these photos am getting better all the time with fitting them together tight, not easy for sure.

And YES all wood is from scrap I get around here and people giving away different trees like red ceder, honey locus, and alot black walnut, we even burn it for heat theres so much around. I heat my home and garage with those 4×4 skids I get from factory also, Thanks enjoy

Any questions ask,,

Looks great. I don’t think I have the patience for that. Nice job!

These are incredible, well done. I’m impressed with the scrap you’re finding.

Bud, if you haven’t seen it yet check out Jerry Bennett’s “wedgie” sled. He has 3 videos posted on YouTube; just search “Jerry Bennett Woodworker”. His wedgie sled makes cutting perfect segments much easier. And even if your saw blade was tilted you still can make a perfect segmented ring. Your turnings are very good for a new turner.
