No den or library is complete without a globe, thats what I think anyway, so I decided to builld one, I found a really small globe and a rumage sale, its about 4 inches high, a bit small for display on the den floor, so i went and bought myself some walnut and set about building one, I turned the four legs and and the center column and cut the circles with a router, I found the globe part in an antique store and the brass finals I ordered from a lamp shade supplier. As always I give credit to my wife who has a great eye and does all the plan drawings for just about everything I build
