Walnut and cherry owl—wall decor

Just a simple bandsaw cutout. Made from walnut with a light figure and some cherry resawed and planed down to 1/4 inch. A little chip carving to accent the eyes. Few coats of spray shelac over the top. I have made a couple of these as gifts.

I’ve never called a woodworking project cute before but this Owl sure is cute! Nice work!
