Folding Closet Doors

48” Closet doors into a walk in closet. For optimal usage of space, I decided to design the doors so they folded 6 inches into the closet and 12 inches into the bedroom. Reconfigured recessed sliding door hardware… barrel hinges and dovetailed joints… also my first time making doors and haunched M&Ts. Copper and leaded hand rolled glass, white Oak frame.

I had to install dimmer lights inside the closet to illuminate the stained glass. Makes a great night light.

I’ll 3rd the “impressive” comments. Those are some intricate joints, and I love the glass work. Nice job!

Have your say...
