This was a project for my Dad, it’s based on a Pottery Barn piece.
It’s made from rough cut Knotty Alder and finished with Waterlox Orginal Finish. Each side has 2 adjustable shelves, the drawers are rabbited half blind dovetails. This was a real challege but a lot of fun.

Very nice looking piece of furniture. I like those moderate knots evenly scattered all over that piece.
Great work!

rabbited half blind dovetails

Have to check out what that all means. Sounds Stephen King sort of scary.

Beautiful piece!

Nice work. The finish looks terrific. Did you use shellac before applying the Waterlux? I know knotty alder can blotch sometimes but yours is perfect. Did you use inset Euro hinges?
