These are the projects I worked on this winter. The first is a saw till that was in WOODSMITH magazine. It is made of hickory. The second is a case for hand planes built on the same design as the saw till and made of ash. The third is a mallet made of oak for the head and hickory for the handle. The fourth is a display case for my Father-in-Law’s WWII military awards and memorabilia made of mahogany with a strip of maple for accent.
I had fun doing these projects and learned a lot in doing them. I used through tenons on the first two and dovetails on the display case.
