Router Table

I built this router table a few years ago and this week I added a router lift. The table is from the New Yankee Workshop design, the router lift is from the Woodgears site. I made the cam clamp to replace the knob to lock the router at the desired height and I made a custom nut driver from a 1/2” deep well socket. I couldn’t find a 1/2” nut driver without buying a complete set and I already have a set that stops at 7/16”.
The router lift plan was for a tilting router lift but all I wanted was the lift mechanism. I set it up so I can adjust the height through the table top.
I am very pleased with the router lift, it is now very easy to change router bits and adjust the height.

This is a fine router table. It should be very efficient and has a lot of nice storage and other features. It will be a great addition to your shop.
