The ‘Leafhopper’ coffee table is my latest original creation. The body is made of 3 layers of 12/4” Maple lumber and measures about 8 1/2” thick at the crest of the ridge. It has a custom gradiated lacquer finish that is lightest along the center of the top and darkest along the ridge on its belly. The legs are crafted out of 12/4” walnut and are stained dark on the top portion. I gained inspiration for this table from two small photos of a leafhopper in a recent National Geographic magazine.
Dimensions: 32”l x 20” w 18”h
Materials: Maple and Walnut

I love this, it looks fantastic. I went to your site and was blown away by your stuff. I was curious if I could come by your shop some time and take a look.

Robert
This is amazing. I love the execution and the inspiration. How are the legs attached to the body?
