Walnut Maloof Inspired Coffee Table

Just finished this small walnut coffee table. 21” tall, by 22” wide, 38” long with sculpted legs. Client wanted a “cozy” table to fit in smaller room. Finish is equal amounts of Poly, Tung Oil & BLO, hand rubbed and sanded between coats.

That’s a beautiful table. What kind of joinery is used on the legs?

I use a loose Tenon (Domino) to hold the end grain joints together on the top and bottom joints and the 4 legs are tied together with a center post that has a dado down 4 sides and the inside edge of the legs get a rabbit to give it the one piece look.
