Project Information

If I'm going to make a table saw sled, I figured I should make one that looks great! No, it's not curved in the back. I cut two cross pieces from the same board, for the back, and glued them together before mounting. So, plywood back and bottom with solid oak for my handle and backstop (whatever you call the part that you hold the loose boards against when cutting).

I looked at a handful of sleds and built something based on what I needed, what i could afford, and what provided a bit of protection for my hands in case I pushed a little too far. Proper usage is the best safety but I liked having the additional blocks.

You met your goal. I love the pattern of the wood, the color just makes it stand out with the design also

I really like it and am curious if you have any plans on maybe Sketchup, or some general dimensions and I'll put it on Sketchup.
