This is a very easy project to make for the beginning woodworker. It is low cost since it is made from scrap pallets and should only take a couple of hours to make. The same plans can be used to make a nicer version from 1×4 cedar boards. The planter holds succulent plants which are almost care free and extremely easy to grow.

Nice planter, great idea for small cactuses.
