Whipped this out for my new table saw. Used bunch of scrap ( of course ) pine, fir, 1/2 plywood. Glued and screwed together. Some day when i remember will get a couple of wing nuts for the 1/4 inch bolts. I just put my pinky side of my hand on it and grasp the 2×4 and push/pull. Actually fills natural. I see no reason to build a fancy handle like the magazines show.

What i like about this is its simle yet safe. Keeping your hands free and clear of the blade is priority number one. Good design. I’ll have to make me one.

Great design.

Question: Would it be more comfortable if the rear end top corner of the sliding push stick was chipped off at an angle, similar to the 2X4? I believe this is exactly where your hand rest when using it.

Best,

Serge

Oh yeah, now that’s something I’ve got to have. Good thinking….
