Not done much in the way of turning lately.
This is a piece that I started at the beginning of the week but went wrong a couple of times and had to repaint it. The main pod is Ash and the ring stand is cherry. The wife thought I was making a lemon well with all the problems I felt like one.
The third picture shows it all together.

Amazing! I can’t even imaging attempting that. Thanks for showing.

WOW Derek, the colouring is something to behold.
The pod looks like you could have just picked it off the tree.

Nice one Derek. Would like to know how you did that.
Are you considering a blog on how it’s done?

Not thought of doing a blog as I did not take any photo’s of the process maybe on the next one if I remember to take the camera into the shed
