Here are some pretty simple duck calls turned on the lathe using commercial acrylic inserts. I have some acrylic blanks that I may eventually turn, but they are a bit of a pain to drill and they leave plastic like residue all over the lathe.

From Left to right, Cocobolo, Texas Ebony (probably my favorite wood), and Walnut

That is really nice, I like the walnut the best, where do you get the inside parts for the call?

Very nice, I think the shape of the cocobolo one is my favorite.

Here’s a link to where I buy the inserts. I’ve used a few different reeds and cork, mostly “Echo duck call reed and cork replacement set” which I order from Amazon.
