If you build it they will play!!! I know this is not a completed project, however it will be tomorrow. Besides I know that Lj’s love to see this much lumber waiting to come to life!!! The lady at HD said that this looked like a lot of work. I thought about it on the way home and I disagree, it looks like a lot of fun waiting to happen. I guess I am a “Glass half full kinda guy”!!! Well I got the Fence completed late Sunday afternoon. I still have to build a gate, but the bulk is finished. I used 4×4x32” posts and 5/4×8’ side boards. We plan to paint it white later this fall.
Thanks for looking.

Is that a 62 Chevy I see lurking in the background ? Great car—I had one and loved it—283 with power packed heads -3 speed manual-am radio—I was in Heaven !! Oh and good luck on the project too !

I always like the saying “get to fun” better than “get to work”.
Assuming this is a play set for your kids, the anticipation of their enjoyment should make this very fun for you.
Have a great time.
PS: the glass isn’t half empty or half full…’s just twice as big as it needs to be.

That is why we call it wookdworking and not wood finishing. Have FUN!

As soon as I saw your lead photo, I knew you were going to get plenty of comments on the ‘62. I had one too, back in the day.

to all who commented on the Impala-
It is not mine, it belongs to a good friend of mine who is restoring it at my house. ( he has no place to work on it) My baby is the 09 Harley in the background, a gift from my wife last year. Gotta love a women when she says” you need a new Bike” Thanks for the comments and look for results on the fence and playset tonight (3/20/2010).
Thanks for looking
