Turned some salt shakers and a pizza cutter handle. Hardware is from Rockler. The wood is olive. Finished with Cap’n Edies shine juice.

It’s been a while since I made those but if i remember it was pretty soft and very wet. I think the blank was waxed when i bought it. Wish i had access to some greenwood because it sure makes turning easier. I have read that you can dry it right on the lathe with friction.
