I built 2 of these things for my great nephews and great nieces last year, for Christmas. While the things are not “finished”, their parents wanted them that way. Heck they’re for kids, so why worry. The chalkboards are painted with a special black paint, pretty slick. In between the legs was a space for a roll of drawing paper, which would be pulled up through the middle and over the top. Trays on either side for crayons, paint brushes, whatever. The kids love ‘em!

These look like a great project. About how long did it take you to make them?

These are great ideas! I keep meaning to make one for my kids, but alway get sidetracked. Nice!
