I’m excited to show first project. A simple toy shower. It was cut as straight as I could with scroll saw- no pattern. Sanded. No stain/paint/little shower head etc as my 4 yr old refused to let it go! The tiny slits for curtain rod wire was a 1/16 hole then used the actual little scroll saw blade as a tiny saw and made it a horizontal slit. An underwire from a bra was then inserted, pushed through one slot, bent slightly and pushed through other side. Wire was cut flush on back side by holding a wire cutter close to wood and bending wire til it broke. Curtain was scrap that was hemmed and hung.
This was not meant to be perfect, but it’s square, solid, and sanded. She plays with the wooden toys you see in the background much more than the fancy stuff with so much detail. Plastic ones aren’t sturdy either and they are extremely frustrating to a child that just wants to use imagination- and they have to try to set doll in chair 4x, but chair keeps falling over. I loved how this project turned out and am going to try a stab at a bathtub with new router. Who knows- a tiny potty could be next.
Thank you for any advice you can give!
-Coffee

Very nice. I have a granddaughter that loves to see what I can come up with for her doll to use. Will be adding this one to the list.
