Very interesting project!
Is the wing nut used for a quick release for the guide so you can set the wood in for a cut in the middle of a board?

What was your thought for building it, I figure there was something that no other tool in you shop could meet your need. Like to see some of the things you use it for.

I have a scroll saw and band saw, but there is some space between the two that neither are best at.

Steve.

I use the wing nut to set the height of the wood to be cutted. I wish i had a band and scroll saw but as you see i am settled for now with just a cheap jigsaw. Thanks for the comments, and please be patient with my poor english.

Have your say...
