Pipes get new life
in memory of Madts father

I had the pleasure to meet up with our LJ friend Madts a few times when he visited Copenhagen, last time he was there the occasion was one of the tough facts of life, his father had left us and he came to say goodbye.
Madts was so kind to think of me and one of the things he thought I should have was a handful of his fathers old pipes, pipe tools and some good tobacco. I am and was touched by this gesture, thanks Madts.

Here some of what came out of the wonderful old pipes.

5. Pipes after cleaning.
6. A serious cleaning.

Perhaps this can inspire to bring new life, to send love to those who are no longer here and to appreciate friendships.

Best thoughts,

I am the one who says thanks.
Just made handles for fire steels, out of the beautiful wood you gave me a long time back.
Life make beautiful circles sometimes.
Best of my thoughts my friend.

Very nice !!!
Another subject …
Does Madts ever talk about his computer? I sold/sent him one of mine pre-loaded with AutoCAD.
Somehow I get the feeling that he hasn’t been practicing.
I probably practice too much. I’m wearing my right index finger down to a nub. :-)

I have a pipe from my father and, even though I don’t smoke a pipe, I will take that with me when my time comes!

I hope these work for you too!
