I wanted to try some small cabriole legs and play around with the golden mean. This is what I came up with. I originally wanted something more complicated but I only had so much padauk.

I used padauk, maple, and cocobolo.

I learned half blinds in thin stock isn’t that easy, hide glue is awesome, pore filling padauk sucks, and shellac is easy to brush on.

I should’ve know better than to let a 3 year old play with it even for a short time. Haven’t repaired it yet but it shouldn’t be too bad with hide glue.

Damage and repairs

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic Fridge! It came out beautifully. The drawers are particularly stunning.

Outstanding colour and finish. Those black knobs fit good to it.

Thanks bud. I do think about trading her in for a model that isn’t so hyperactive loud and brutal for a 3 yo girl. Like a warrior princess.

Thanks bud. She treated it like one of her toys too. Let’s see how it’ll bounce when I drop it she probably said.

Looks like the legs turned out great! You’re a brave man letting a warrior princess carry that around like that.

Great job. The feet and finish are nice. She’s gonna keep that for ever.
