Made this simple jewery box for my young daughter. The box is made of makore, keys from purple heart, inside dividers are fir and I used a bandsaw to cut off a piece of splated maple and glued it to a plywood backing for the tops insert.

-- Style is simple, but not my execution of it.

Could you elaborate on the materials used? It looks like some kind of spalted wood veneer for the top on ply, with purpleheart accents, and some odd wood for the sides (lyptus?). Nice job on the box. I like how you attached the handle.
