The design for this game table came from a mixing of cabriole legs and gentle Krenovian curves. The table has one full length drawer that contains a divider for the storage of the game pieces plus more. The drawer uses dovetail construction and has a French bottom.

Very nice. I love the design. My daughter just asked me to make an end table for her and I just may modify your design for her.

It looks like the top is floating. How is it connected?

Great board and table. I love the clean looking pieces.

See!!...I knew I wasn’t the only one to have tried it. My current project is a chess board with raised square just like this. See here.

How did you assemble the board?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a “french bottom drawer”?
