Project Information
Made this desk for my home office, the room is a bit of a mess now, but I am working on some bookshelves and then I will clean and organize the room.
I used 8/4 Walnut, just glue for the panel Joinery. Cleaned up the edges on my table saw, and spent allot of time with a power planer and a Jointer Plane to clean up and Flatten the top and sides. Borrowed a Lie Nielson No. 8 for the job, and I really want one.
Used a Router with a round over Bit for the edges.
For finishing I used Arm-R-Seal by General Finishes in Gloss, with a paste Wax on top.
The Legs are Black Iron 1" pipe from Home Depot, de-greased and sanded them, then applied a spray on satin lacquer by Rustoleum.
