curly maple rocker

this is a culy maple rocker i made that is part of a dining room set i made last year. It has ash spindles with walnut wedges. The design comes from Thos Moser.

good golly, Ms. Molly..she’s a beauty..gorgeous. thanks for sharing (did T.M. have those long cat tail catching rockers on his design? those are looonnnngggg)

I love tiger/curly maple and walnut is a great wood to accent it with. Awesome piece of furniture!

Thanks everyone, Tom Moser who now owns a fairly large furniture company, wrote a book in the late seventy’s about windsor chair making. I think it is one of the best books i own and one of the best on the subject. I got it from Abe books for a dollar. He never made a rocker like this so i just had to play around with the angles until i found what worked.
