this is a cradle I just completed for my brother and his wife who is expecting a girl in may.

That is a wonderful piece. The lines are graceful and uncomplicated.

Is that natural cherry? I always try to steer people in the direction of not staining woods like cherry and mahogany- it looks so much better that way.

Thanks I am glad you like it. The cherry has a natural danish oil finish, which is what i use most of the time(its fool proof).
