This is another recipe box that will hold 3”X5” index cards and it is the shell box style that I like working with. I’ve said before that it is like having an uninterrupted canvas, only it has four corners to make it more interesting and challenging.

The veneers are all dyed in France and I ordered them from B&B Rare Woods in Colorado. They have a wider variety of colors than what I was able to get at Rockler. I think I am ready to do one in all natural woods but first I have a few other things to get done.

Thank you for looking and all comments are welcome, good, bad, constructive or whatever.

Great job, I also get much of my veneer from B&B Rare Woods. They are great to work with. Not sure how you wrapped the veneer and design around the edges. You will have to give us a little tutorial.

Thank you everyone for your comments.

John (Woodenwizard), The next box I make like this I will and maybe a video on parts of it.

John (Druid), The box style is from The Brit Boxmaker and it is what he calls a Shell Box.
